Description
This solicitation is for services for Emergency Generation System for DECA Commissary and warehouses at various U.S. military facilities on Guam. The scope of work details all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, incidental engineering, transportation and other items necessary to provide the services necessary to fully maintain generators located at Buildings 275 and 780 (X-RAY Wharf), U.S. Naval Base, Guam, and Building 22021, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Services shall be provided on emergency generator units and system, including diesel engine and generators from 400 KW to 1000 KW, battery starting system, battery charger, starter motor, cooling system, automatic transfer switch, control panel, circuit breaker (main generator), exhaust system and diesel fuel tanks. This solicitation will result in award of a combination Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with performance period of base year, with four 12-month options. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only and available for download via the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All documents will be in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC E-SOL website, as only registered contractors in ESOL will be notified by email when amendments to the solicitation are issued. The solicitation will be issued on/about 13 May 2005, with proposals due on/about 27 May 2005. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and the small business size is 500 employees.
