- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to procure a quantity of three (3) each ImagIR Camera systems on a competitive firm fixed price basis. Shipping, and installation will be included in the firm fixed price. Delivery of the systems is FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake 6 months after receipt of the contract. A portion of the specifications are as follows: a) Lens mount shall be a bayonet type; focal length shall be 100 millimeters; b) Detector type is Staring Focal-Plane Array (SFPA), Indium Antimonide (InSb); Integration modes are snapshot and fast frame/integrate-then-read; c) Array pixels are 320 horizontal by 256 vertical; d) Super-frame capacity; e) maximum array frame rate is greater than 300 frames per second at full frame without windowing; f) detector cooling is liquid nitrogen pour-fill dewar with hold time greater than 8 hours; g) data shall be transferred via "Camera Link" interface and protocol. With RS-422 serial control interface provided; h) full documentation of commands and dat formats shall include, but not be limited to all: serial command protocol, commands, expected responses, and shall include a sample start-up sequence. No proprietary command, control, and data formats shall be used; i) Operating temperature range is -30 to +70 degrees Celcius; j) physical dimensions are maximum outside dimensions and form factor of complete lens, dewar, electronics, all electrical connectors, ! and dewar pressure regulator attachment as specified in detailed specifications. Each camera mounts behind its own window mounted in the TIGER turret fairing. A detailed specification will be provided with the written solicitation on the Navy Electronic Commerce on-line website at: http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEDBIZOPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/SearchServlet on/about 23 May 2005. The solicitation will close on or about 08 June 2005. Award will be issued under the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responsible sources must submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotations (RFQ). Evaluation for the the award will consider price and other factors including technical ca! pability and compatibility.
