Description

The Contractor shall provide any and all personnel, equipment, supplies, permits, licenses, and services necessary to perform Low Ground Pressure (LGP) Machine Thinning and Slash Treatments. Work will begin the base year 2005. Tasks to be performed will be listed in individual task orders against an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantities contract. This statement of work consists of completing the tasks in the solicitation to the quality assurance requirements stated in the plan. Work areas are generally located within the boundaries of the Fremont-Winema National Forest. Work areas are accessible by standard two-wheel drive pickup (with snow tires and chains if needed) during normal operating seasons. In order to minimize soil erosion and damage to National Forest lands and roads, all roads are subject to closure during spring and fall break up or whenever soil or weather conditions require. This is an Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) five year pre-commercial thinning and machine slash treatment solicitation. This is a Hubzone set-aside. Expected issue date is May 20, 2005 and expected open date is June 20, 2005 Contracting officer representative will be Kandy Hill, 541-353-2727, Bly Ranger District.
