- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential non-secure juvenile community corrections center (CCC) based services for male and female Federal offenders within the boundaries of the following contiguous counties: Aitkin, Becker, Beltrami, Carlton, Cass, Chisago, Clay, Clearwater, Crow Wing, Grant, Hubbard, Isanti, Itasca, Kanabec, Kittson, Koochiching, Lake, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Norman, Otter Tail, Pennington, Pine, Polk, Pope, Red Lake, Roseau, St. Louis, Stearns, Stevens, Todd, Traverse and Wilkin, Duluth, Minnesota, area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Contract Non-Secure Juvenile Facility Amended February 2004. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 67 percent male and 33 percent female for the two-year base period; 75 percent male and 25 percent female for option year one; 75 percent and 25 percent female for option year two; and 80 percent male and 20 percent female for option year three. The estimated number of inmate days is 2,190 for the two-year base period; 1,464 for option year one; 1,460 for option year two; and 1,825 for option year three respectively. The solicitation will be available on or after February 18, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0854-NC will be on or about April 18, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
