Description

Obtain the services of a roofing type contractor to repair multiple level EPDM ballast roof system on two buildings located within the secure perimeter of the Low Security Correctional Institution(LSCI)Allenwood, located in central Pennsylvania. These repairs are to include the repair of the rubber roofing materials and field seams. The areas identified as needing repaired are as follows: reflashing of 23 elevated curbs, four (4) HVAC roof mounted units, flash 19 gas line supports, ten (10) roof drains, and ten (10) vent boots. Repairs are also to be accomplished on the expansion joint and parapet walls as needed, and the stripping in of all field joints. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or after 06/01/05, and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration on Federal Business Opportunities web site, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about his aquisition,including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about his acquisition.
