Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to MOTOROLA under its GSA contract No. GS-35-0004L for the purchase 122 TYPE I Land Mobile Radios (LMR) and accessories in the amount of $361,760.00. This procurement will be awarded as other than full and open competition since MOTOROLA is the only source capable of providing TYPE I encryption software for LMR approved specifically for military/government use. The requesting activity is the 715th AMOG (Air Mobility Command). NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAY-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
