SOLE-SOURCE REPAIR REQUIREMENT TO PROTOTYPE ENGINEERING (CAGE: 0B1B6), (PROTOTYPE ENGINEERING OWNS ALL RIGHTS TO TECHNICAL DATA) REQUIRMENTS-TYPE REPAIR CONTRACT CONTEMPLATED -- WITH A BASE, AND FOUR OPTION PERIODS. PR Number: FD2030-05-26093 NSN(s): (6340-00-624-7667RK, Part Number: A96-1B) AND / OR (6340-00-627-1590RK, Part Number: T201B) Noun: FLASHER, EMERGENCY Applicable to: B-52 BEQ: BASE YEAR 15 EA OPTION ONE 7 EA OPTION TWO 11 EA OPTION THREE 12 EA OPTION FOUR 9 EA Description: Enables crew to distinguish between abandon aircraft and alert conditions Bail-Out Warning. Approx Dimensions: 5.5” x 4.5” Material Content: Hermetically sealed case contains relays. Filter assemblies, and timing circuit. Reliability & Maintainability Requirements Apply. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK FB2039, unless otherwise specified by PMS at time of shipment. Required Delivery: 3 EA 30-days ARO and Repairables, and then 3 EA every 30-days thereafter until order is complete. Under the authority of FAR 6.302, the proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY AS THE SOLE-SOURCE VENDOR, PROTOTYPE ENGINEERING, OWNS ALL RIGHTS TO ALL TECHNICAL DATA. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) in the planned solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer, their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. FY05 FUNDS APPLY TO THIS ACQUISITION. AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS CLAUSE SHALL APPLY. NO OBLIGATION MAY BE INCURRED BY THE GOVERNMENT UNTIL FY05 FUNDS AVAILABILITY HAS BEEN CERTIFIED.
