- Description
- THE ABOVE REFERENCED NOTICE IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS: ADD THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: Amendment One to RFQ 05M000070A. Questions and Answers. 1. Q: With regard to the ten (10) organizations/teams targeted for participation in 2005, does SAMHSA have established partnerships and/or commitments from these teams to participate in recovery month? A: Some relationships exist, but new relationships will have to be created. 2. Q: Given that the teams are "negotiable", does that suggest that these ten may be added to or would other teams substitute for the suggested ten? A: We want 10 participating teams. The list is illustrative, as such, it is subject to change. The list can be changed, but not added to…a total of 10 major league teams are needed. 3. Q: On Page 4, in the bullet starting, "Participation of SAMHSA officials or designated representatives...," mention is made of "airing the Public Service Announcements at the game." However PSAs are not listed anywhere as among the deliverables. Should the development of PSAs be included in the technical and cost proposal. Are there existing PSAs that are thought suitable for use on this project. Please clarify. A: PSAs exist and are on hand. They do not need to be developed. 4. Q: In Task 3, bullet 2, it mentions "event advertising and marketing pieces." Can you clarify what is intended here i.e. print materials (flyers, posters) and/or on-line advertising (banner ads, e-cards) and/or radio or TV PSAs? The budget and scheduling implications with regard to the extent and type of marketing/advertising are enormous. A: Simple community flyers, posters and the like are what is desired. The expense should be minimal. 5. Q: What is the anticipated date of award? A: Late May or early June, 2005. THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS REMAINS MAY 18, 2005. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAY-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
