Description
The following market survey is to obtain small business sources to perform cost engineering, cost estimating and value engineering services to support the development of various projects within or assigned to the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division a nd work for others through the Department of Energy (DOE). Requirements for this work will include highly technical and specialized training and experience in environmental cost estimating disciplines for the preparation of cost estimates and project sche dules for the construction and operations of multi-million dollar facilities. There will be a capacity to field teams of 15-20 highly trained individuals in multi-disciplines to perform reviews within a 3 to 6 month time frame at multiple sites and team m embers shall be fully trained in various cost estimate programs and scheduling programs. Team members are also required to have senior level experience in the environmental and construction engineering field and be licensed engineers with a certification in engineering, value engineering and scheduling. The firm shall also have the capacity to field two to three teams consisting of 10 to 20 individuals in any given time frame to accomplish and achieve the customer contractual commitments and schedule dead lines. The firm performing the work will be required to have senior level management that has the capability to manage multiple tasks/projects within any given time frame. Individuals shall be trained in MCASES, MII, Primavera Scheduling Software, Microso ft Professional, Microsoft Access and Acrobat Reader-Writer for the publication of documents and cost estimates. North American Industrial Classification System code is 541330 which has a size standard of $4,000,000.00 in average annual receipts.
