Description

The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) has a requirement for 1 each Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), AGFA model IMPAX ES PACS System 100. This requirement is being issued by Gov.Works under the franchise authority of the U.S. Department of the Interior on behalf of the AFIP in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with AGFA Corporation for this requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. AGFA is the only approved PACS vendor for the United States Air Force. AGFA has obtained a Certificate of Networthiness for PACS and Teleradiology that complies with the provisions of DOD 5200.40, DOD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process, and Air Force Instruction 33-202, Computer Security.
