Description: The work consists of the removal and satisfactory disposal, via hopper dredge, of all material excavated from the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet within the limits of work as shown of the contract drawings. The estimated time of completion is 150 cale nder days after receipt of notice to proceed. The solicitation will issued to include 5 drawings and specifications. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 June 2005. T he Bid Opening Date will be established by amendment. Plans and Specifications are available to download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil. There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANH OLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED.
