Description: Solicitation for the possible replacement of Instrument Detergents and Enyzme Pre-Soaks for TRICARE Puget Sound and Alaska (Washington state and Alaska).??Companies who currently possess or are in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing A greements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) for this product are eligible to participate in the standardization process. If so, provide all pertinent product information. 2. Does your company manufacture or distribute this product? If so, what types and/or brands? 3. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Cardinal? 4. What is your DAPA Number? 5. List industry manufacturing standards applicable to your products? 6. How are your products packaged? 7. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group? If so please answer the following: a) Dates and duration, b) Cause, c) Resolution. If applicable, what support did your company provide during any backorder/recalls. 8. Can you provide customer support in the form of a sales representative for each and every Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) within the TRICARE Northwest Region? If so, can you provide a list upon request? 9. Do you provide Education Programs and 24 hour support? 10. Do you have a company return goods policy? If so, what is it? 11. Do you provide quarterly utilization reports? For Instrument detergents: 12. Are your products alkaline based, with available free alkalinity not exceeding 2%? 13. Do you have a non-forming liquid form, in a variety of package sizes; 1, 5, 15 gallon, etc? 14. Does your product possess organic sequestering agents to manage water hardness and mineral deposits? 15. Does your product possess corrosion inhibitors to minimize corrosion and discoloration of instruments? 16. Is your product one step containing lubricating properties to minimize milking instruments? 17. Are your products completely safe on all surgical instruments including gold, brass, and other soft medals? For Enzyme Pre-Soaks: 18. Are your products available in ready to use spray foam and non-foaming liquid forms? 19. Do they contain a minimum of two active enzymes to attack protein, fats, and starches? 20. Are they recommended for use in automatic endoscope re-processors (AER)? 21. Are they bacteriostatic so as to deter bacterial growth and possess odor suppressing properties. 22. Do they contain surfactants to achieve saponification and emulsification of organic soils. 23. Do they possess corrosion inhibitors to prevent corrosion of instruments soaking for extended periods? 24. Do they remain active in temperatures up to 120 degree Fahrenheit? 25. Are your products simple, easy to use, and require minimal training. Respondents must provide all written detailed information on the INSTRUMENT DETERGENTS & ENYZME PRE-SOAKS, which clearly outline the requirements stated above before the close of business on the closing date of this solicitation.
