- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), as contracting agent for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has issued a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the next generation National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures C enter (NBACC) operating contract. The DRFP is a further exploration of the concept articulated in our Request For Information (RFI) issued February 25, 2005. The DRFP includes a draft Sponsoring Agreement and a draft Management Plan. The DRFP is posted with the original RFI on USAMRAA's web site. The USAMRAA website address is provided here for your reference: http://www.usamraa.army.mil. Potential offerors and interested parties are invited to submit comments on any part of the DRFP. Please label com ments with the corresponding section of the DRFP. Potential offerors are requested to submit a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate for the contract line items in Section B of the DRFP. To be of greatest value, comments should be received no later tha n 3:00 P.M., June 22, 2005. Electronic submissions to the contract specialist are preferred; however, no zip files, please. Do not contact the contract specialist for a copy of the DRFP. The DRFP is only available through the USAMRAA web site as noted a bove. No contract will be awarded as a result of this DRFP. The Government will not reimburse contractors for costs associated with submitting a response to the DRFP. No information is available other than that contained in the DRFP.
