Description
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) charters, regulates, and supervises national banks to ensure a safe, sound, and competitive banking system that support the citizens, communities, and economy of the United States. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the OCC is responsible for promoting and assuring the safety and soundness of the country?s system of national banks and maintaining its competitiveness, efficiency, integrity, and stability in the financial marketplace. The OCC has a requirement for ?off-the-shelf? interactive capital markets e-learning courses. Currently, the OCC offers e-learning solutions that cover the basics of finance and statistical theory in three self-study courses - capital markets, bond math, and risk management. The OCC wishes to continue to provide its examiners with basic self-study courses covering the basics of financial and statistical theory. The OCC maintains offices throughout the United States. As a result, courses hosted through the Internet provide the best possible access to the training. Additionally, these courses must be accessed using OCC?s current laptop and desktop configurations. These basic self-study courses should also contain modules, exercises, and knowledge tests that can be administered and reviewed centrally by OCC Continuing Education staff with appropriate summary reports. The vendor shall provide ongoing technical support, maintenance and any course and content upgrades for the life of the contract. The term of the contract will include a base year plus four option years. The acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5. The solicitation will contain a Statement of Work, instructions for submitting a quote, and the evaluation/selection procedures. The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about June 10, 2005 on this web site. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the OCC.
