- Description
- The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center intends to award on a sole source basis to Competitive Edge, Inc. the purchase of 800 each Disc Desk Reference Mouse Pads, 480 each Student Online Disc and Value Assessments, 460 each Disc Personal Insights Profile Workbooks, 460 each Your Attitude is Showing Workbooks, and 275 each Energizing People books. This synopsis is a notice of intent to award under other than full and open competition and should not be viewed as a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The following provisions in their latest editions will apply to the solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items with addendum that the Government will not pay taxes where an exemption applies; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items. The following additional clauses therein apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer ? Central Contractor Registration. All potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System. Registration must be done immediately upon retrieval of this synopsis in order to be considered for award.
