Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services within the city limits of Seattle, King County, Washington area and be within one-half mile distance to public transportation for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2005 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2010. The services required for this contract include Line Item Number 1: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates 50: (50) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) (4 units per month x 6 months) 24 Individual units x 50 inmates = 1,200 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) (4 units x 26 weeks) 104 Group units x 50 inmates = 5,200 total units; Family Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) (4 units x 4 weeks) 16 units x 5 Families = 80 total units; Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) (18 units/9hour per week x 6 weeks) 108 units x 1 per inmate = 108 total units; Estimated Number of Inmates (6) Mental Health Assessment and Report (one per inmate); Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) (24 units per inmate 4 units per month x 6 months) 24 units x 6 inmates = 144 total units; Mental Health Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) (4 units x 26 weeks x 6 inmates) 104 Group units x 6 inmates = 624 total units; Mental Health Medication Monitoring (4 inmates x 1 monitoring per month x 6 months) 24 visits. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated January 2004.
