Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. It is the intentions of the 125th Fighter Wing Base Contracting Office to combine and purchase Hyperblade Dual Opteron Node and Accessories. Solicitation number W911YN-05-T0017 is provid ed for identification purposes only. Interested parties may identify their interest by submitting quotations. This is a total small business set-aside, however quotations will be accepted from large businesses. In the event of insufficient small busines s concern participation, award will be made to a participating large business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423430 and the small business size standard is 100 (500 for Govt. Contracting). This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order utilizing simplified commercial acquisition procedures under full and open competition. This requirement is for the following: Item 0001 APPRO Hyperblade Dual Opteron DP IDE Server 1HDD, HT P/N APPRO-pB121H-81 Qty 10 each; Item 0002 Switch: SMC 8624T GIGE 24 Port Switch. Qty 1 each; Item 0003 Cabinet: Mini Cluster Cabinet W/Blade Command Center Qty 1 each; Item 0004 Avocent: PCI add in card Fiber medium Qty 10 each, Item 0005 Avocent: Desktop Appliance Fiber Medium w/DDI/serial/4USB and Audio 1 Half Link PCI Qty 1 each; Item 0006 Profserv: Professional Services (on-site Installation, Configuration, Set-Up).
