Description

Provide all repair parts and labor necessary to perform on-site emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and telephone support services, for the Government owned LENS Laser System. Optomec, Inc manufactures the LENS System. THIS PROCUREMENT IS S OLE SOURCE TO OPTOMEC, INC. Any company that recognizes these items/services and can provide supporting evidence, including written permission from Optomec Inc. to use any proprietary data needed to perform the service described in the specification, to i dentify themselves. All qualified offerors will be considered for future procurements. However, it is determined that Optomec Inc. will retain all proprietary data for its own use and not release any technical data. North American Industry Classificati on System Code is 811310; size standard is $6,000,000. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: http://www.procnet.anad.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is 16 June 2 005. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interest ed parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your propos al non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
