Description

The item being procured is an Extractor Cartridge, Part Number 9346438, NSN 1005-01-204-4347 and will be in support of the M9 Pistol. Extractor material is cold drawn, steel, bar, alloy 4320, grain size 5 thru 8, ASTM A29. Case harden, heat treat a nd phosphate coating is required. Metric: Approximate size 34.6 in. long x 8.4 in. wide x 3.97 in. that requires tight machining tolerances. Solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, and will result in an award of a 5-year Indefinite Del ivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The guarantee minimum quantity is 3,100 each Extractor Cartridge. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 16 Jun 2005. The response date of 20 Jul 2005 is only an estimate. This solicitation will be issued elect ronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
