This requirement is a Base Year Plus 2 100% Optio ns Contract, applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5255. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company Cage: 77272 and Northstar Aerospace Cage: 22907. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) speci fied on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government rights or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of second source part in the intended application. Adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. Forging qualification is required. This is a Critical Safety Item that requires Endurance and Interchangeable test. A Contractor First Article is required. Production Lead-time is 15 each, 239 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to ide ntify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requi rements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for s olicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 22, 23 and 26.
