- Design/Build a new 200 - member U.S. Army Reserve Center (USARC) and Unheated Storage/ Facility (UHS) located at Corry Station, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida. The buildings will be permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations, co ncrete floor slabs, structural steel frames, masonry exterior walls (for the USARC), asphalt shingles and EDPM single ply membrane roofing, mechanical systems including air conditioning and electrical systems. Supporting facilities include site preparation , paving, fencing, and extension of utilities to serve the project. Furniture will be purchased by other contract. This solicitation also contains option items. These items are: 1) Unheated/Flammable/Controlled Waste Storage (UHS/F/CWS) Building; 2) Operat ions and Maintenance Army Reserve (OMAR) funded items for the UHS/F/CWS Building; 3) Brick Veneer in place of CMU Veneer for the USARC Building; 4) Exterior Lighting for the privately owned vehicle parking area; 5) Brick Veneer in place of CMU Veneer fo r the UHS/F/CWS Building; and 6) CMU backup in place of steel backup for the USARC exterior wall. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for lowest price/technically acceptable to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of impor tance: Experience of the Prime Construction Firm and Design Firm; Key Personnel; Past Performance of the Prime Construction Firm and Design Firm; Organizational Chart; Subcontracting Information and Price. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. The price range is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. This project is available by CD and downloading from the Internet only on or around 16 June 2005. Proposal due date is 02 August 2005 at 4:30 PM Louisville Local time. NOTE: There will be a Pre-proposal conference held on 06 July 2005. Details of this conference (time and location) will be placed in the solicitation.
