Description
The Aviation Management Directorate (AMD) of the Department of the Interior, National Business Center intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to MRO Software, Inc., 100 Crosby Drive, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730-0143, to provide MAXIMO5 Configuration Management software. This procurement adds the MAXIMO Configuration Management module to AMD's existing licenses and support agreement for the MRO proprietary MAXIMO Aircraft Maintenance Program software. The new MAXIMO Configuration Management solution will accurately track the current and historical changes of the configuration of aircraft and their components; uniquely derive build and component life data from transactional logs to allow conflict detection and resolution; support unlimited backdated changes to install/remove and usage records; and on-the-fly historical at-the-time asset build and component life views. These additional capabilities are used for servicing and managing the DOI aviation fleet. It also will become a part of a total solution to be called the Aviation Management Support Systems (AMSS) which already includes MRO Maximo Transportation 5.2 Release 2 software and will interface with the DOI Finance and Business Management System (FBMS). This software purchase includes an annual service agreement for technical support. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations or a solicitation of offers. Interested parties may submit in writing to the designated representative their product's literature describing their ability to perform the effort.
