- The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center Office of Aviation Research has a requirement for services in the ground operations in icing conditions, "Data and Information Development for Advisory Material and Technical Support." In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, this Screening Information Request (SIR) Request for Information (RFI) is released for the purpose of obtaining information to allow the FAA to: determine the level of competition, make a programmatic affordability assessment, and develop its acquisition strategy.
