Description: Amarillo VA Health Care System is seeking construction services for Environmental/Security Enhancements. Work will include general construction and building alterations, including structural steel, concrete, EIFS systems and roofing. Installation of operating Electronic Access Control System (ACS) with control to access and monitor alarm events at select portals. Safety precautions for a hospital must be followed at all times. Solicitation will be available on or about 06/15/2005. Bid opening will be on or about 07/15/2005. SITE VISIT: 6/21/2005 @ 11:00am CST, meeting in the Engineering office, Bldg T-34. 100% of this requirement is set-aside for HubZone business. ALL requests must be in writing. NOTE: Subject to the availability of funds.
