Description

THIS IS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERANS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration is seeking a contractor, to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies to perform and complete all work necessary to construct a committal shelter in Vermilion County at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana. This contract will be a 100% service disabled veteran set-aside. The concrete slab/foundation has already been poured in anticipation of the construction of the Committal Shelter. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed-price construction contract. THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED WITHOUT DISCUSSION. The contract is to be completed 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Contract is estimated to be between $100,000 - $250,000. Insurance, payment and performance bonds will be required. The NAICS Code is 236220; size standard $28.5 Million. Telephone or facsimile requests will not be accepted. Contractors interested in bidding on this solicitation can download the plans and specifications from the BOS URL address at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Solicitations will be made available on or about June 16, 2005. The pre-bid construction conference is tentatively scheduled for June 21, 2005, at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Road, Zachary, Louisiana 70791. Port Hudson National Cemetery may only be contacted for assistance with directions to the pre-bid construction conference at (225) 654-3767. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. The company must have been in existence for three (3) years. All companies must be registered in all of the following databases prior to the award of any possible contract from our offices.
