Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, is soliciting information for potential sources capable of performing a contractor operation of an on-base parts store (COPARS) in support of the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. On-base workload would include providing motor vehicle and miscellaneous equipment parts and tires to maintain a Government fleet of approximately 1500 vehicles that range in diversity from sedans to heavy construction vehicles. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price requirements type contract with a period of performance 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06 with four (4) one-year option periods for a total performance period of 60 months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336399, with a small business standard size of 750 employees. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. Interested sources are invited to submit: 1. Statement of current capability to provide COPARS service to include company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone, and facsimile numbers and type and business size indicating whether you are a small or large business for the purposes of the assigned NAICS, 2. Past experience in providing services such as but not limited to a list of three of your most relevant and recent DoD or commercial contracts, 3. Information telling us about your company and why you think you can perform this contract.
