Description

This notice serves as Notice of Intention to issue a Prospectus to provide limited food service sales within Golden Spike National Historic Site. Contracted services are for the on site sale of limited food items such as snacks, candy bars and soft drinks. These items will be sold in a manner to be determined by the concessioner at the time of the prospectus offer. Possible sales methods could include sales machines, attended or unattended kiosks, or attended or unattended carts. The items will be sold at the courtyard of the Visitor Center, which is the primary visitor focus of the park. The concessioner will provide its own base of operations outside park boundaries. No facilities will be provided by the park for sales or for storage of stock. The National Park Service intends to award only one contract, which will be for a 10-year term. There is no current operator and no operator has a right of preference in renewal. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Prospectus will be issued June 2, 2005, for a 60 day response period. Offers for this Prospectus must be received by close of business (no later than 4:00 p.m.) on August 1, 2005, in the Business Resources Division, Intermountain Region, 12795 W.
