- Description
- Remove Linoleum from 4th floor workroom floor, clean off mastic, and seal concrete with a Retro Plate finish. The work shall be conducted in phases with each phase substantially complete before the beginning of the next phase. During the Christmas season from November 14, 2005 until January 4, 2006 the contractor will not be allowed to work in the building and must cease all painting operations, including removal of equipment. This is a Processing and Distribution Center and the contractor cannot interfere with the flow or processing of the U.S. Mail. Minority-owned and Women-owned Business participation is encouraged. Construction cost range: $200,000 to $250,000. Performance time will be 60 calendar days from the date after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Evaluation criteria in addition to price will be considered and are as follows: 1. A Management Plan addressing how to handle OHSA and IAW standards, 30 pts; 2. Adequate staffing resources sufficient to do work in a timely manner per schedule in solicitation, 30 pts; 3. Must demonstrate successful completion on projects of a similar scope and magnitude (examples must be provided, as well as, contacts), 25 pts; 4. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference,15 pts; 5. Must have been in business for at least five (5) years, pass/fail. Specifications will be available on or about May 27, 2005. The proposal due date is Thursday, June 23, 2005. Specifications will be provided for a non-refundable cost of $100.00. All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail. This is included in the price of the prints and specifications. USPS Express Mail service is also available at an additional cost of $25.00. The preferred method of paying for prints is by credit card. LDI accepts Master Card, Visa, or AMEX. Orders can be pre-paid by Corporate or Personal Check made out to LDI Reproprinting Center (DO NOT MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE). All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. The name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information.
