Description

Replace Fire Alarm System and Install Sprinkler System located at the Wilbur J. Cohen Building, 330 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for the services. The estimated cost range for the project is more than $10,000,000. This solicitation is not set-aside for small businesses. However, this procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Women-Owned businesses are encouraged to submit a bid and so state that they are women-owned. The NAIC Code is 238220 and the small business size standard is $12,000,000. The solicitation issuance date is April 15, 2005; and the solicitation due date if May 15, 2005. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically and on CD-ROM. You may access the solicitation documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site Home Page: http://www.eps.gov. However the construction project drawings will be available on CD-ROM only. Potential bidders may pick-up a CD-ROM copy of the construction project drawings at the General Services Administration, National Capital Region, Regional Office Building, Bid Room, Room 1065, 7th & D Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20407, at a non-refundable cost of $10.00 per copy. Payment should be made by check or money order, payable to the General Services Administration. A receipt will be issued for the payment. In order to be placed on the bidder’s list, potential bidders who intend to download this solicitation and purchase a CD-ROM must inform the point of contact in writing by mail, email or fax, 202-708-6838 of their company’s name, address, telephone and fax numbers.
