Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa Florida, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (PARTICULARLY SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED and 8A Firms), with experience in providing and performing DESIGN-BUILD CONSTRUCTION/RENOVATION/REPAIR services for various infrastructure projects. Anticipated procurement would be conducted under FAR Part 36. The NAICS Code varies, but would most likely be under the 23 umbrella and appropriate Small Business size standard. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of a solicitation package is Mid July 2005. All work will be performed at a Medical Facility in Central Florida, requiring continuous operation. Thus, interested parties should have local offices, and must have experience in this environment. Bonding capacity of at least $5 Million is needed. All qualified and interested parties are encouraged to contact me for additional details.
