Description

PRON: 8X5QQQ03AXAX, NOUN: The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to award a contract for coverage of CAV II system installation, physical inventories and reporting from within Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. repair and return facility. This requirement is for the base year plus 2 year options, 100% each year. This requirement is in response to a Joint Logistics Service Center (JLSC) mandate to the U.S. Army (AMC HQ) to implement cited CAV II system and establish accountability of Depot Level Reparables at commercial contractor facilities. The unique information needed to initiate various types of CAV transactions, as well as maintain an accurate inventory of on-site AMCOM components exists only at Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. faci lity and is not available within the Government at this time. Approved source is Simmonds Precison Products, Inc., DBA Goodrich Actuation Systems, 100 Panton Road, Vergennes, VT 05491-1013, Cage Code 12511.
