- The physical characteristics of the project include, but are not limited to, For Lock 14, demolition, removal and disposal of existing fencing, removal of an existing horizontal slide gate operator, along with providing and installing a new gate ope rator, new chain link security fencing, manual swing gates, an electronic horizontal slide gate with keypads and entrance/exit loops, an intercom system with associated electrical conduit and wiring, concrete bollards, supplying the site with jersey vehicl e barriers, site restoration, and seeding. For Lock 15, demolition, removal and disposal of existing fencing and gates, along with the installation of new chain link security fencing and manual swing gates. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $100,000 to $250,000 and the completion period is 60 calendar days. The NAICS code for this project is 237990, $28.5 million. Project is 100% set aside for Hub-Zone small business. Plans and Specifications will be provided at World-Wide-Web Internet address: http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil. The apparent successful offeror must be registered in the Depar tment of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
