Description

Description: This is a fence building project near Winnett Montana. The contractor is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property to construct 335 rods of four-wire fence (three strands of barbed wire with the bottom wire being smooth wire). _____ The line items read as follows: 1) MT02834(5) Barbed Wire End Panel (Type II) - 17 each; 2) MT02834(6) Barbed Wire Stress Panel - 1 each; 3) MT02834(22) Barbed Wire Gate Type A - 2 each; 4) MT02834(25) Six Post Barbed Wire Corner Panel (Type II) - 5 each; 5) MT02834(1) Barbed Wire Fence (4 wire) - 335 rods; 6) MT02834(27) Fence Alignment - 1 lump sum; 7) MT02834(30) Set Wood Post - 12 each; 8) MT02834(53) Deadman - 24 each; 9) MT02834(1) Drainage Crossing Type A Modified - 7 each; and, MT02811(13a) Cattle Guard w/o Cleanout - 1 each. Quantities are estimated. _____ Award will be All or None. Estimated cost is between $10,000 and $25,000. _____ The Request of Quote will be issued on or before June 10, 2005. A Site Tour is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 9 a.m. All interested quoters are to meet at the Winnett Post Office located in Winnett Montana. Please provide your own transportation; a four wheel drive is recommended due to travel over unimproved roads and trails will be required. The Request for Quote will close on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 with award tentatively scheduled for the following day. The project should take approximately 54 days to complete with the period of performance tentatively scheduled between July 11and September 2, 2005. _____ This is a Small Business Set-Aside. Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) is required. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) is also now required.
