Description

This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by 460th Contracting Squadron, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado to determine the size, and type of businesses able to furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, service and materials, except as Government-furnished, for the prepration of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or sstorage and related services. This requirement will apply to Direct Procurement Method shipments only. This requirement will include local moves, outbound household goods, outbound unaccompanied baggage, inbound household goods, and inbound household goods. If this is a service your business can provide, respond to this Sources Sought by 15 June 2005; 4:00 P.M. (MDT). Responses should include: (1) Business Name and Address (2) Point of Contact Name and Phone Number (3) DUNS and NAICS code(s) (4) Business Size SMALL or LARGE (5) Type of Business 8A, HUBZone, WOMEN-OWNED, SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED etc, and (6) contract magnitude of similar work. All businesses are encouraged to limit their responses to no more than 20 pages in length. Currently we are utilizing this market research to develop such information as contract type, socio-economic set-aside information, and possible NAICS codes; therfore, this information is not currently available. Sources Sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR part 10. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
