Description

Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform all operations necessary in connection with Project XGFG052010, entitled Replace Roof, Building 400 & 414 at Truax Field ANGB, Madison, Wisconsin. The subsequent award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with a contract completion time of forty five (45) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. In general, the work for replacing the roof system includes, but is not limited to, c omplete removal of the existing ballast roofing system including insulation, base sheets, and sheet metal appurtenances to the existing structural roof deck; demolition of all parapet caps, flashing, trim, gutters, and downspouts; installation of 3 polyis ocyanurate base insulation sheets, polyisocyanurate tapered insulation as required, adhered EPDM roofing membrane, installation of an adhered EPDM roofing membrane over non-external wall parapets, installation of new edge metal and fascia assemblies and sh eet metal expansion joint covers; installation of sheet metal parapet caps at fa?ade of building, installation of gutters and downspouts at all locations where gutters and downspouts were removed, and replacement of wood blocking where deteriorated wood bl ock is found. All work to be done IAW applicable specifications and drawings. The estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside. Funds are presently available for this project. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 238160. The Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 13 June 2005. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. The solicitation will be ava ilable from the Nationwide NG Posting for Electronic Business Solicitations (EBS) on-line at http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/EBS/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. All requests for solicitations shall go through the EBS site. Interested bidders are req uired to register on the EBS website to access/download the solicitation. Clicking on the solicitation number link will start the registration process. Interested bidders must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR registration in formation can be accessed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. Interested bidders are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. The plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website on-line at https://www.fedteds.gov/. A Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit will be held 29 June 2005 at 9:00 AM local time in the 115th Civil Engineering conference room.
