Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision to install underground telephone cable within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The project consists of installation of a direct bury duct-bank from the park communication building to park headquarters. The work duct-bank will include installation of new voice and data cabling. Work includes open trenching, directional boring under roadways, installation of raceways and handholds, backfilling, grading, landscaping, and final testing of cabling installed. It is approximately 3/4 of a mile between the communication building and park headquarters along Riverview Road. All work is within Cuyahoga County. The project performance period is 60 days. The NAICS code is 237130. The small business size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656.Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about June 17, 2005.
