Description

Solicitation No. W81XWH-05-T-0539 will be issued on 13 June 2005 and proposals will be due on or about 20 June 2005 at 4:30 p.m. EST. The Government requirement is for the nonpersonal services of a scientist to utilize molecular (i.e., proteomic)- a nd cellular-based research methods to assess brain trauma and neuroprotection strategies, including targeting the proteomic and degradomic signalizing pathways promoting acute and delayed cell death process of brain trauma. Period of performance for this requirement is 12 months, beginning 12 July 2005. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 541710 with a size standard of not to exceed 500 employees. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this cont racting office. All interested parties can view, dowload, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 20 June 2005 on ASFI (Army Single Face to Industry). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registation (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. A Commercial Firm-Fixed-Price or Labor Hour purchase order i s planned and any resulting award will be issued for a period of 12 months.
