Description: The purpose of this contract is to reduce brush, release and thin conifers, and prepare sites in stands by mechanical shredding/mulching/chipping live and dead brush etc. Work is to be performed on the Bass Lake Ranger District of the Sierra N.F. Estimated start date is August 1, 2005; there are two bids items on approx. 830 acres. There is approx. 583 days of total contract time. Solicitation will be avail at FEDBIZOPPS approx. June 22, 2005.
