Description

The Albuquerque Indian Health Service has a requirement for healthcare related Information System/Information Technology (IS/IT) support service for the Indian Health Service. Anticipated sites are Albuquerque, NM, Rockville, MD, and Tucson, AZ. The information systems and technical infrastructure that support the IHS?s mission and programs through IT services must undergo significant enhancement and continuous refinement to be able to support emerging IT requirements. The IHS requires a contractor(s) that can provide support services including but not limited to the following: National Data Warehouse Services and Support, Web Development, Software Development, Local Area Network Operations, Wide Area Network Development (LAN/WAN), User Support, and Help Desk, Software Maintenance & Support. The IHS anticipates in awarding multiple performance base contracts for a base year with four, one-year options for renewal. Some contracts will be awarded as Fixed Price contracts, some will be awarded as Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), and others will be Labor Hour or Time and Materials (T&M). The acquisition is set-aside under the authority of Section 8(a) as a competitive acquisition of the Small Business Act and the under the authority of the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47, as amended). Vendors must be certified 8(a) and be Buy Indian 8(a) certified. Reference Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 05-05/VZ when requesting the solicitation package.
