Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the construction of a fishing pier at ARM Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Boyton Beach, FL. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct a handicap accessible wooden pier approx 200' by 8' with attached handicap accessible floating docks. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 6/28/05, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 08/09/05. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401815B021. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note; All prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award.
