Description
The Jacksonville District US Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for proving LP Gas Service for FEMA provided/owned trailers, which are being utilized as temporary housing for residents who have been displaced from their homes as a result of hu rricanes. Trailers are located on private residential sites in Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, FL. The number of trailers to provide this service for will vary as FEMA continues to relocate occupants into alternate housing accommodations and deactivates t railers no longer needed. The contractor will not be required to service units that are empty. The USACE will designate the trailers that will no longer be occupied. The list of occupied sites will be provided in the RFQ. The current number of occupied trailers is 48, and the contractor shall fill propane tanks on a weekly basis, as needed. The contractor must be licensed to provide propane services in the state of FL. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded for an initial period of up to 3 months , with an option for up to an additional 3 months for a total performance period of up to 6 months. Payment will be based on actual number of deliveries made. Services will be procured pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Ite ms. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to this RFQ, will be most advantageous to the Government. Price will be the only evaluation criteria. This acquisition is 100% s et-aside for small business. The NAISC code is 424710. To be considered a small business, firms must have fewer than 500 employees. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible to receive an award from this RF Q. Request for Qroposal (RFQ) will be issued on or about 6 Jun 05 and will close on or about 9 Jun 05. RFP will be issued in electronic format only.
