Description: The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires labor, supervision, tools and materials to upgrade and modify an existing 5,000 (+/-) square feet food safety laboratory at the Eastern Regional Research Center, Wyndmoor, PA. Work requirements will include removing, replacing, and altering walls, ceiling and flooring; HVAC equipment replacement including air handlers, duct-work, diffusers and controls and the installation of an autoclave; and the replacement of electrical conduit, devices, panels, wiring and lighting. The ECC is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The project is with be completed 150 days after receipt of notice to proceed which will be issued September 2005.
