Description
The Tahoe National Forest anticipates awarding a non-competitive contract to Incident Solutions, LLC (Sonoita, AZ) for several tasks designed to provide working documents for implementation of several key US Forest Service (USFS) Washington Office (WO) responsibilities by the Director of Fire and Aviation Management (FAM). Final delivery of all products will be December 31, 2005. Drafts of all products will be delivered by October 1, 2005. The work requires a high level of expertise in USFS WO FAM Operations and Policy. Specific tasks: 1) Develop a transition plan for the new Director at National Advanced Fire and Resource Institute (NAFRI). 2) Assemble documents pertaining to the Quadrennial Fuels and Fire Review (QFFR); organize and prepare summary documentation on what is archived and how it is organized and was developed. Archives will be at NAFRI. 3) Develop summary document of cost containment review process and provide training. 4) Conduct an organizational review of Fire and Aviation Management. 5) Conduct an administrative review of Fire and Aviation Management. 6) Lead or participate accident reviews as requested by the WO FAM. Vendors believing they can meet this requirement must submit written information showing clearly that the individual(s) proposed for accomplishing the work have successful experience in the kinds of tasks to be performed and have demonstrated knowledge and expertise related to USFS WO Fire and Aviation Management Operations and Policy. Also include hourly rates for each individual named. All information must be received no later than 2 p.m. PDT June 23, 2005.
