Description

The item to procure is a Collapsible Buttstock (NSN 1005-01-411-1264) (Part Number 12956141) for the M249 (SAW) 5.56MM Machine Gun. Parts include Buffer, Body Assembly, (2) Tubing, Buttplate Assembly, Gun Stock Extension Machined from an Aluminum Al loy, Bar Stock, 2014-T6. Finish is a Anodic Film, Class 2, Dyed, Color Black. The Solicitation is FULL AND OPEN and will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract for 4,500 ea Collapsible Buttstocks with a 100% option. Heavy Phosphate and First Article Test are required. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 06/28/2005. The above date of response is only an estimate. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet at: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any a mendments thereto.
