This solicitation is 100% Set-aside for "Special Disabled Veteran Owned Business" (SDVOB). Paint Overhead and Bulkheads of the Historic Steam Ferry Eureka Engine Room, for the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), San Francisco, California. Solicitation Number N8520050039. The San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to: Preparation, encapsulation, routine painting and finish work of the deteriorating, lead based coatings on the overhead, bulkhead, interior hull and support frame surfaces of the engine room. The NAICS code for this project is 238320. Contract duration is 30 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. A Site Visit is scheduled for Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 am local time at the Eureka located on the Hyde Street Pier, San Francisco, CA. Type of Procurement: a negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both technical and price proposals. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation; refer to actual solicitation.
