- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for RF AMPLIFIERS which will be 100% set aside for small businesses. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F1TTAL5096A100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220 with a business standard size of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for, CLIN 0001, Four, Each (4), RF POWER AMPLIFIERS, MEDIUM POWER OCTAVE BAND, OPERATING FREQUENCY OF 12-18 GIGAHERTZ, A GAIN OF 33 DBM MINIMUM, A GAIN FLATNESS OF 2 DBM, A NOISE FIGURE OF 6 DBM, AN OUTPUT POWER OF 33 DBM, A VSWR (STANDING WAVE RATIO, IN AND OUT) OF 2:1, AND 2 AMPS AT 15 VOLTS DC OF POWER. AMPLIFIER MUST BE "RUGGEDIZED" FOR REMOTE LOCATION OPERATIONS, CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT AMBIENT TEMPERATURES FROM 40 DEGREES F TO 110 DEGREES F AND ABLE TO WITHSTAND A 1 METER DROP WITHOUT CHANGING THE CHARACTERISTICS. On these items, Delivery required is F.O.B., Eglin AFB, FL within 90 days after award. Final inspection will be at Eglin AFB, FL.
