- DESC: The purpose of this announcement is to revise the synopsis issued 13FEB05 for the solicitation W52H0905R0191. The synopsis is revised as below. DESC: 1005-01-470-5046, Part Number: 12011986. The item to be procured is a Monoblock (standard) Barrel for the M249 Machine Gun. This is a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements type contract with a minimum guaranteed Qu antity of 10,000 each Monoblock (standard) Barrels. The total estimated maximum quantity for this contract is 72,000 each. The Government reserves the right to make up to 2 awards. If single award is made the guaranteed minimum quantity is 10,000 each. If 2 awards are made the guaranteed minimum quantity is 5,000 each. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 2005Jun18. This solicitation is restricted to FN Manufacturing Inc., 797 Clemson Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29229, Colt's Mfg. Company Inc., P. O. Box 1868, Hartford, Connecticut 06144-1869, and General Dynamics Weapon Systems Inc., 291 North Street, Saco, Maine 04072-0890 (the Small Arms Production Industrial base) under the provisions of 10USC 2473, as amended by Public Law 105-261. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. Published for subcontracting purposes only. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or prop osal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to : tacom-ri-tdp-@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (Optional), Street Address, City, St ate, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
