- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00050139 herein is cited as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The commercial items policies of FAR Part 12 will be used in conjunction with the sealed bidding procedures of FAR Part 14. Solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25(b). This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NACIA Code: 421110, Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees . (Description): 1. Contactor shall provide three tractor trucks for rental. Deliver FOB destination to Bureau of Indian Affairs ??? Division of Transportations, to Project N5000, 4 miles west of Highway 491 on Highway 34, Tocito, New Mexico. The Rental period shall be from July 1, 2005 to September 30, 2005. The Project Foreman, Herbert Tom will be inspecting the equipment before accepting the tractor truck. Item Description Quantity Unit Price Bid Amount 1. Three Tractor Trailer 3 months $ $ Item Description: a.) The equipment shall have 10 speed transmission, with 350 or more HP, will be pulling 6000 gallon water tanker. b.) Tandem axle. c.) Tires must be in good conditions. d.) The equipment shall in compliance with all safety requirements (DOT). e.) Year 2000 or new with insurance coverage, (equipment). f.) Air Condition, mud flopper, all truck lights, warning lights working, hazard light, horn, backup alarm, power steering. g.) Sleeper optional. h.) Contractor to furnish fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, and tires when needed. Bidders shall include the complete purchase price of the above item including all applicable taxes. FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors???Commerical Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Bidders shall include with their bid a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications???Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions???Commercial Items (including any addenda), applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders???Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds applies to this acquisition.
