Description
The Bureau of Land Management, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a requirement for approximately 200 tons medium (800 - 1200 lb) bales of clean, 1st crop 2005, alfalfa hay with no rain damage, and a crude protein content of approximately 18 - 20%, suitable for horses and burros, free from foxtails and other noxious weeds. No hay from previous year will be accepted. Hay is to be delivered, offloaded and stacked in two hay barns at the Salt Lake Regional Wild Horse and Burro Facility, located in Herriman Utah. Delivery will be on an as needed basis. Each delivery shall be made within 7 days after notification of need. Delivery to be complete no later than July 15, 2005. Contractor shall provide a means to offload and stack the hay. The North American Industry Classification System Number for this procurement is 111940. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on or about June 23, 2005. Offers will be due on or about July 7, 2005. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. See Numbered Note 1.
