Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Western Colorado Area Office, Durango, Colorado, is soliciting for quotations to apply herbicides to wet seepage areas on the downstream face of Navajo Dam, NM including the right and left toe drains, face of bench on the right side and ten feet adjacent to all roadways downstream on approximately 45 acres and to spot treat rabbit brush and other woody plants on approximately 55 acres on the downstream face of the dam. This is being awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures and Acquisition of Commercial Item procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and 12. FAR Part 17 (Multi-year contracting) is also being used. This award will purchase two and one-half (2 1/2) years of service without establishing and having to exercise an option for each program year after the first year. It is a total small business set-aside. The award will be made based on best value to the Government and evaluation criteria will include chemicals utilized, method of application, New Mexico herbicide applicator's license, past performance, prior experience and price. Representations and Certifications, (FAR 52.212-03) which are listed in the clauses in the solicitation, must be filled out and returned with quote or completed electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov to be considered for the award.
